Tris Vonna-Michell's practice often features slide narrations and
recorded speech acts, excerpted and edited from his ongoing performances.
In Pavilion 1, Vonna-Michell uses two interconnected
spaces: a former municipal office, which has been modified as part
of a new installation and the adjoining space, which is occupied by
a site-specific slide projection, synchronised to a recorded, spoken
narrative.
