Building
Located in Palacio Aguirre, an eclectic building designed by the architect Víctor Beltrí in 1901, MURAM is an emblematic example of the Belle Époque in Cartagena, coinciding with the prosperity of the local mining industry and business activity, which favoured the emergence of a bourgeoisie who supported the city's political, social and cultural life. During the 20th Century, the building has served several purposes. In 2009, MURAM was opened after the addition of an annex designed to increase the exhibition space. Schedule: 10 am - 8.30 pm. Sunday: 10 am - 2 pm. Monday closed. ( 11 of October closed)
